ABOUT COACH JOHN ULRICH

• John Ulrich, was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association HALL OF FAME in 2002.

• Coach Ulrich has over 40 years of experience coaching junior high and high school girls and boys. 

• Many of Coach Ulrich's former players have gone on to play in high school, college, and the pros. 

• Many of his former players have gone on to coach junior high, high school, college and pro ball. 

• Coach Ulrich was named by the IBCA as the Northern Illinois District Jr. High Coach of the Year in:

1993, 1994, 1995, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2013 and 2015.

• Coach Ulrich is the only coach in Illinois history to coach both boys and girls teams to STATE AND NATIONAL Championships.

• Coach Ulrich took high school teams to AAU Nationals in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

   

• Four of Coach Ulrich's children have been All-Area Players and two Honorable Mention All-State.

   

• Three of Coach Ulrich's children coach high school basketball (Fremd, Hoffman and Conant).
